ho provato ancora a configurare la webcam e usare vari programmi ma non riesco con nessuno. è un problema della directory dev/video?

Non viene creato il device al momento del caricamento del modulo.
Prova a rimuovere il modulo, stacca la webcam, ricollega la webcam, carica il modulo e posta l'output di
tail -f /var/log/messages
e
ls -l /dev/video*.

e mi trova regolarmente la Logitech QuickCam Chat
lancio camorama, si apre la finestra della webcam perfettamente funzionante, ma compare la seguente scritta di errore:
"could not create directory (null)"
da riga di comando compare il seguente errore:
isapica@linux-vkc7:~> camorama
(camorama:3688): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_entry_set_text: assertion `text != NULL' failed
Come posso correggere l'errore ? Grazie.

Camorama, purtroppo, non sempre funziona a dovere.
Prova ad installare gqcam....cheese........ e vedere, inoltre, se amsn....kopete.. o programmi simili la riconoscono

Ok, eliminato camorama, installato gqcam, e la webcam funziona senza intoppi, compreso la sua integrazione in skype. Grazie.
