alarm-clock-1.2.5 che dovrebbe esere piu evoluto
come devo procedere?
Mmh... quella installata tramite compilazione dovresti avviarla da terminale.
Mentre se stai avviando da menù è probabilmente un'altra versione (da repo).
Poi l'icona nel menù di quella compilata la devi creare manualmente tu
anche da terminale si avia vecchia versione dici disinstallare tutto e coninciare da capo?
Eh, ma se hai installato sia il sorgente che il pacchetto da Yast è ovvio.
Non dovrebbe esserci bisogno, devi solo capire quale comando avvia la versione giusta, al massimo togli un attimo quello di Yast.

I programmi compilati a mano non vengono inseriti negli stessi posti di quelli installati da pacchetto.
Dai il comando
/usr/local/bin/alarmclock
e vedi cosa succede.

Temo ci sia poco da fare, per funzionare il programma vuole le GTK2.16 mentre tu hai la 2.14, a questo punto dovrsti compilati pure queste importantissime librerie.
