Come da titolo sto tribolando con una scheda ATI la radeonHD 4370.
premetto che fino a un mese fa' funzionava tutto bene , avevo installato con successo i driver propietari e tutto andava a meraviglia.
poi malauguratamente ho deciso di aggiornare gli Xorg con quelli presenti nei repo , da tenere presente che erano gli stessi che avevo usato per Natale , quando avevo cambiato scheda ATI.
Alla ripartenza non c'e' stato verso di usare piu' i driver propietari , all'avvio mi si propone il prompt testo e da lio l'unica cosa per avviare l'interfaccia grafica e' cancellare il xorg.conf e dare il comando sax2 -r -m 0=5radeon perche' se do radeon HD il test fallisce , anzi non parte neanche il server grafico.

Ho provato anche con i nuovi driver propietari rilasciati ieri , ma nulla.

Qualcuno ha un'idea? tra l'altro il repositi di xorg che usavo ora e' vuoto.
