Suse 9.2 64bit e Audio

Salve a tutti...ho un problema con la mia nuova Suse 9.2 a 64bit:
capita solo con doom3 che l'audio si senta in modo completamente distorto, mentre con i film e tutto il resto funziona bene.
Secondo voi è un problema del gioco o è qualcosa che riguarda alsa o cos'altro?
L'hardware del pc è : amd643000+,1gb ddr, gf 6800gt, mobo abit kv8 Pro

P.S. sulla Suse 9.1 personal funzionava tutto alla perfezione

Ho scoperto che la versione di doom3 1.1.1286 che ho io richiedi degli alsa >= a 1.0.7. Io infatti ho installato i 1.0.6-8 pero' se aggiorno da YaST mi da questi: alsa-1.0.8-pm.0
e non installa le alsa-lib che da quello che ho capito sono i driver veri e propri.
Nemmeno andando su www.alsa-project.org e scaricando e compilando tutto funziona...sempre lo stesso errore

Al che non so più cosa fare...come faccio ad aggiornare le alsa da YaST??
