Ho una scheda tv pinnacle pctv hybrid 320e, ho seguito la procedra da http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Em2880#Pinnacle_PCTV_Hybrid_Pro
Ho quindi installato il driver aggiornato per il chip em2880.

Eseguendo modprobe em2880 non ho errori ma guardando il file creato da dmesg ho riscontrato diversi errori come si vede dall'allegato.

In particolare non capisco questo errore:
module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.

Ho configurato la scheda video in yast e aggiunto il driver.

Alla fine nessun preogramma di gestione Tv funziona. (kdetv, zaping)

Si tratta solo dell'avviso che il modulo non è supportato da Novell, fa il paio con l'avviso Microsoft a proposito dei driver non certificati.

Aprendo la configurazione nei programmi per vedere la TV la scheda risulta selezionata?

Ho reinstallato tutto compreso i moduli del kernel.
Terminata l'installazione ho inserito la scheda usb e dmesg mi ha ritornato questo:

Aggiunto in yast la scheda em28xx mi ritorna anche l'errore con l'alsa.
Per ora non mi interessa il sonoro voglio capire solo come far funzionare il video.

Su kdetv mi da no device found!

Con zapping couldn't open /dev/video0 :-o

Non capisco perchè ho anche questi errori:

Per il video ho risolto ricompilando le librerie v4l con il file emBDA.sys (firmware pinnacle) copiato da windows.
Video perfetto con kdetv e basso uso cpu.

Ora non riesco a reinderizzare l'audio.

Ho trovato un sistema per rendirizzare l'audio:

sox -r 48000 -w -c 2 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp1 -t ossdsp /dev/dsp

però non sento nulla :-o

Ho smanettato parecchio sulle configurazioni e in definitiva:

- kdetv non funziona l'audio
- motv funziona tutto aggiungendo il comando sopra per l'audio
- xawtv idem come motv
- Zapping si pianta!

Non ho ancora provato mythtv perchè devo ancora scaricarlo

Ragazzi mi tocca vedere la TV con windows 2000.
Nessuno riesce a darmi una mano per vederla con il buon linux!

Sono riuscito a far funzionare la scheda e a sentire l'audio con tvtime e mythtv. Il problema ora è che con tvtime la scansione mi rileva solo Rai 1 e una rete slovena! Con mythtv solo una rete tv!
