Ciao a tutti,
MAGICA Opensuse Laughing !

Ieri sera ho inserito la scheda in oggetto nel notebook e con mia grandissima sorpresa la Opensuse 11 l'ha riconosciuta al primo colpo :-o !

Premetto che con altre distro derivate da Debian al comando lsusb, non veniva nemmeno vista! La scheda PCMCIA N501HS brand Tim è uguale alla H600 brand H3G ed entrambe derivano dalla ZTE MF330 made in China! Ho letto migliaia di forum e guide in rete, ma a parte un paio di persone che dicono di essere riusciti a farla funzionare (con problemi di velocità), sembra veramente che ci siano dei problemucci con questa scheda!

Dunque, ho verificato in Yast e viene perfettamente riconosciuta tra gli USB come Onda Comunication ed abbinata alla porta ttyUSB2: entrando sempre da Yast nella connessione ad internet però aggiungendo un nuovo Modem non posso selezionare la porta in questione in quanto non presente in quelle selezionabili.
Riuscite ad aiutarmi? Dove sbaglio?

Prova a postare il log di dmesg dopo aver inserito la scheda nel notebook.

Inserisci la scheda nello slot PCMCIA del notebook, apri una shell e da root impartisci il comando dmesg e fai un copia/incolla del risultato qui sul forum.

modprobe usbserial = carica la boot questo modulo (quindi ogni volta che accendi il tuo pc)

vendor=0x05c6 product=0x6613 = sono numeri identificativi del tuo prodotto (son scritti in appositi registri dento l'hardware)

vendor dovrebbe essere l'indentificativo della marca product dovrebbe essere l'identificativo del prodotto (modello)

una volta scritto dentro al file che ti indica la guida (/etc/init.d/boot.local)...fa tutto lui te non devi preoccupartene!!! Wink
